Heavy White Cornish Cross

We ourselves are using what we sell in our own varied farm operations including Poussin, Broilers, Roasters, and capons.  

Broad breasted Cornish Cross that makes great fryers (broilers), and roasters. This is a high yield bird meant for heavier weights, which is still a fast growing breed, the difference is in the first week of growth it’s a little slower than a broiler which gives the body time to build bone strength. Has excellent feed conversion, livability, strong legs and a maximum white meat yield with a plump full confirmation, that today’s markets desire. At six to eight weeks of age, weights of 3 ½ lbs. - 5 lbs. processed weights, grow out time will achieve either lighter or heavier weights. With using a well-managed care and feeding program, customers have achieved processed weights of 10 - 14 lbs roasters and capons. at 10 - 14 weeks.
