I can't identify the breed of my baby chick. Is there a way to tell? If you need help identifying the chicken breeds are in your assortment, send photos of your chicks to the Myers Poultry customer care team. Our team will do their best to identify your chicks.
I want speckled brown eggs. Can you send egg laying chicks that will produce speckled eggs? There's no way to guarantee speckling in your eggs; speckling happens when additional pigment is deposited during ovulation. While some breeds are more likely to lay a speckled egg, we cannot fulfill requests to send those specific breeds.
Can Myers Poultry send me more than two different breeds? We try our best to include as much variety as possible. However, it's determined by what's hatching that week and what we have available. If you want more than two breeds, we suggest ordering those individually.
I'm disappointed with my assortment. Can I return or exchange for different chickens that lay brown eggs? No, that is the risk of ordering an assortment. We offer competitive pricing on assortments because you cannot request specific breeds.
