Payment Options by website, phone and mail-order.

1. Credit cards– we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. 

  • Payment by credit card on the website will process within a 24 hour period.
  • If orders are called into the office in advance your card will be charged 2 weeks before shipment.

2. Checks or Money Orders 

  • You can send in payment by check or money order with an order form. 
    • If the total of the order ends up being less than your mail-in amount, we can offer a refund, credit toward future purchase or if applicable additional product added to order to make money work. We will contact you with options. If the total ends up being more, we will mail an invoice that states the remaining balance due.

3. Phone Orders 

  • Place your order by phone and we can send out an invoice for you to send payment, or you can pay by credit card over the phone.

4. Multiple Orders 

  • If you are planning on scheduling multiple orders throughout the season, please call our office.
    • Depending upon total amount ordered of certain breeds there maybe discounts.
    • Credit cards will process two weeks before order date or you can pay by check.

Shipping Procedure

Allow 1 to 3 days for your order to reach your local post office. Be prepared to pick up your chicks at the post office as soon as possible after you’ve been notified. Your contact information and phone number will be on the box. Usually the post office notifies you promptly upon arrival. It is a good idea to notify your post office that you are expecting an order of chicks.

Hatch and shipping dates are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.  The specific ship day for your order will be given to you with an arrival time frame. We are unable to guarantee an exact arrival day.  Poultry is shipped to your local post office for you to pick up there. The post office will contact you by the phone number you give us for the mailing label once they have received your shipment. Usually shipments arrive in the morning, but depending on truck deliveries your order could possibly arrive in the afternoon.

*Being that we are dealing with live poultry, occurrences can arise that your ship date may be adjusted. If in any case your order is going to be delayed, we will notify you of that change or offer an alternative breed available to ship day of hatch. 

*Weather is routinely monitored anywhere we are shipping and chicks are packed as appropriately as possible due to weather conditions. There are times we may add cockerels to the order to ensure the chicks will remain warm if the weather is particularly cold and even delay order due to weather.

Custom Delivery
We have delivery vehicles that are specially designed to transport day-old chicks. Call our office at 814-539-7026 to learn more about this transportation cost service for large orders.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be called in by phone 814-539-7026, or emailed, but we highly prefer you calling us.

Live Poultry (Effective January 23 2023)  

For all cancellations, there will be a primary cancellation fee of 10%. This fee will be deducted from the total purchase amount.
This includes the following types of orders:
  • Online purchases
  • Orders placed by phone
  • Mail in orders
The above fee applies to all orders , regardless of the amount of time canceled before shipment date.

We must have a proper amount of time to find a new home for the chicks. 

If the order is canceled less than two weeks from shipment date, we may not be able to cancel the order.

We cannot cancel an order on the day of hatch, especially if the order has already been packaged and taken to the post office.

**Depending on circumstance, there may be times we can adjust fees, if at all possible to the situation.

Guarantee & Policies

If you have encountered an issue please call our customer service department at 814-539-7026. We will discuss what options are available for replacement, credit or refund if any birds may have died during transportation. 
All death loss or shipping issues must be reported within 48 hours upon arrival. 

Do not return any live, sick or dead poultry back to us at any time.


The purchaser understands and agrees that the handling of poultry or live birds may result in contamination or disease, including but not limited to any strains of salmonella. The Purchaser also understands and agrees that the Goods and/or Services described are being sold in an “as is, where is” condition, with no warranty for any purpose or condition. The Purchaser accepts all risks and hazards associated with the purchase of all Goods and/or Services from Myers Poultry Farm LLC. (hereinafter the “Seller”), and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Seller against any and all costs, loss and liability, including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, for all personal injury and/or property damage caused by any of the Goods and/or Services provided or performed by the Seller, including all claims based upon the alleged fault of Seller, whether or not also based upon the alleged fault of Purchaser. Such indemnification shall also include the Seller’s employees, agents, and representatives, whether such Goods and/or Services were provided or performed on the premises of the Seller or the Purchaser or elsewhere. The Purchaser shall defend, at the Purchaser’s sole cost and expense, any action or claim for personal injury or property damage brought against the Seller by a third party exposed to the Goods and/or Services

Partner Hatcheries: Myers Poultry uses Partner Hatcheries to fulfill some orders. Some of these Hatcheries are located Outside the State of Pennsylvania.

Any claim related to our website and Myers Poultry Farm / Myers Poultry Farm LLC shall be governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania without regard to its conflict of law provisions. And all applicable laws and regulations and agreement that you are responsible for in compliance with any applicable local laws.
