Looking to hatch your own turkeys? Our Assorted Turkey Hatching Eggs offer a unique opportunity to incubate and raise a variety of classic heritage turkey breeds to add to your farm, homestead, or backyard flock.

Heritage Turkey Eggs for Sale - Assorted Varieties

These fertile turkey eggs are produced by pasture-raised breeding flocks of Bourbon Red, Blue Slate, White Holland, Standard Bronze, and Black turkeys. Each order contains a random assortment collected from separate heritage turkey flocks, giving each hatch the potential to produce a variety of traditional turkey breeds.

Heritage turkeys are valued for their hardiness, natural breeding ability, and suitability for pasture-based or free-range systems. Many poultry keepers choose to hatch their own poults as a way to raise turkeys for meat, develop a sustainable farm flock, or experience the rewarding process of incubation and hatching.

Fertile turkey eggs are also commonly used for educational settings, including 4-H, FFA, classroom demonstrations, and homeschool projects that allow students to observe the incubation process firsthand.

Eggs are gathered frequently and carefully handled to help maintain incubation quality prior to shipment.

Breed Assortment

  • Bourbon Red
  • Blue Slate
  • White Holland
  • Standard Bronze
  • Black

All eggs are selected based on current laying availability. Because these eggs are shipped as an assortment, specific breeds cannot be requested. The assortment will contain at least two breeds.

These classic heritage turkey breeds are well suited for pasture raising, traditional farm flocks, and small-scale meat production. Each breed offers its own distinct feather coloring, size, and farm presence.

Incubation and Hatch Information

Our turkey eggs are guaranteed fresh and fertile at the time of shipment. However, because incubation conditions, shipping, and handling vary, hatch rates cannot be guaranteed.

After your eggs arrive, allow them to rest at room temperature for approximately 24 hours before placing them in the incubator. This resting period helps the eggs stabilize after shipping. If they are not going into the incubator after 24 hours, store them in a cool, dry place (around 60-70°F) for no more than 7-10 days.

Turkey eggs require different care than chicken eggs. For the first 25 days, maintain a temperature of 99.5°F with humidity between 55-65%. It is very important that the temperature remains at 99.5°F during this stage, because even small temperature swings can affect embryo development. During the final three days (lockdown), reduce the temperature to 98°F and increase humidity to around 75%.

A forced-air incubator with a fan is recommended because it helps maintain consistent temperature throughout the incubator.

Shipping Disclaimer

Hatching eggs are fragile and must travel through the postal system before reaching you. While we package eggs carefully to help protect them during shipment, some loss during transit is possible.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee hatch rates once eggs leave our care. Factors such as shipping conditions, incubation practices, and equipment performance can all influence hatch success.
